PHIDU - Early Childhood Development - Australian Early Development Census (LGA) 2018

Dataset extent

Description

This dataset, released June 2020, contains data related to hospital admissions for females during 2017-2018 by a principal diagnosis of injury or poisoning, by an external cause. The causes include transport crash injury, accidental poisoning, falls, injury due to exposure to inanimate or animate mechanical forces, intentional self-harm, assault and some other diagnosis of injury or poisoning(by external cause). This includes data for both Public hospitals and All hospitals. The data is by Local Government Area (LGA) 2016 geographic boundaries.

Source: Compiled by PHIDU using data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, supplied on behalf of Stateand Territory health departments for 2017/18; and the average of the ABS Estimated Resident Population, 30 June 2017 and 30 June 2018.
