UNSW CFRC - Housing Intensification Brisbane (second component) (SA1) 2011

This layer shows the second component of housing intensification for Brisbane 2011. SPSS was used to run the factor analysis. Raw data was downloaded from ABS SA1 2011Factor 2 is dominated by Retired. This group is dominated by older adult residents aged over 55. They are living in semi-detached terrace and townhouses owned their houses outright with low weekly income (A$400-800) engaged in lower occupational employment (i.e. Machine operators and labourer occupations). This group is mostly not in labour force which indicates that they are either retired or students aged under 15. They are multiple family households or family households with children. Migrated residents in this group arrived in Australia more than 30 years ago (1941-1980).
