VicHealth - Sedentary Behaviour Sitting more than 7 Hours per Day (SLA) 2011

This data reports on the proportion of people who sit for 7 hours or more per day by 2006 Statistical Local Area boundaries.

A small number of survey respondents (2.9% of the weighted survey estimates across Victoria) didn't know or refused to answer the survey question. These respondents have been excluded from the data analysis.

Survey question: On a typical weekday how many hours do you spend sitting down? This includes things like driving, working at a desk or computer, reading, watching television and playing computer games. Reported in hours and minutes.
